Terms of Service

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and QiBan AI Inc. ("FEMUEY", "we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization (a school, club or company), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to both you individually and that organization.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on your own. If you are between 13 and 16, your parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account for you. The Services are not intended for users under 13.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at security@femi-chess.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are involved in fraud, abuse or violation of these Terms.

Paid plans (including AI coach memberships) are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices and currencies are shown at checkout and may vary by region. Taxes are calculated based on your billing address.

You may cancel at any time from Account → Membership. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current paid period unless required by law.

Hardware purchases (smart boards, accessories) are subject to availability. We ship via DHL, UPS, FedEx or regional couriers depending on destination. Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.

You may return undamaged hardware in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund minus return shipping. Warranty: 12 months from delivery, covering manufacturing defects under normal use.

The AI coach ("Chess Companion") provides training suggestions, move explanations and conversational guidance generated by AI models. It is meant as a study aid and not a substitute for a certified human coach.

AI-generated content can contain inaccuracies. Use your judgment and consult authoritative sources where critical (e.g., tournament rules, official ratings).

Monthly usage may be limited by your membership tier. Quota limits are shown in your account and may be adjusted with reasonable notice.

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile or extract source code from our software or firmware; (b) use bots or automated tools to abuse rate limits or AI quota; (c) use the Services to harass, abuse or impersonate others; (d) attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you; (e) use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove content, restrict features or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

FEMUEY, Femuey, Vonset, our logos, hardware designs, firmware and software are owned by QiBan AI Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.

Your gameplay data and any content you submit remain yours, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process and analyze it as needed to provide the Services.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FEMUEY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) USD 100.

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time from Account → Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or for legal, safety or security reasons.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, liability) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting legal@femi-chess.com.

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring the dispute in your local courts.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our Services, our business or the law. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date.

Material changes will be notified by email and via an in-product banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
